1. Terminology
i. "the manufacturer" is a term that refers to the corporation of Cornerstone Machine Works and in no way imply any individual or group of individuals employed by Cornerstone Machine Works.
ii. "the unit", "the product", and "the part" are terms that refer specifically to the purchased machine or part of machine that is in question for warranty coverage.
iii. "the customer" and "the client" are terms that refer to the purchaser of the product manufactured by Cornerstone Machine Works. |
2. Restrictions The manufacturer reserves the right to refuse warranty servicing and/or replacement for any of the following reasons:
i. The unit is suspected to be damaged through improper or unrecommended usage.
ii. The unit is suspected to have been deliberately damaged.
iii. The unit's design, structure, or mechanics appears to have been customized and/or tampered with by someone other than the manufacturer.
iv. The damage to the unit is only a result of normal wear and not a malfuntion of the unit's design. (For example, teeth wearing out on the bucket constitutes normal wear. Replacement in such a case would be charged to the customer.) |
3. Extent of Coverage Defective parts will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's discretion based on the extent of the damage or malfuntion. The warranty covers that the malfunctioning product should be fixed so that it functions normally and properly. If the unit includes damage covered by warranty and damage not covered by warranty, only the damage covered by warranty will be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer.
4. Shipping To receive warranty servicing, the product should be returned to the manufacturer's facilities at the customer's expense. Return shipping after servicing will also be at the customer's expense. |
